Does anybody have any information about what type of place this is he is residing in? For instance is this a rescue & rehabilitation place or something else?

He could be much worse off...if you havent noticed the state of the orangutans natural habitat lately maybe you should check it out...he is much better off where he is right now than in the forest that they normally live in where dozens of new baby orangutan orphans arrive in the sanctuaries there each DAY! Besides that, this is not where this little guys stays all the time..this is just a small exhibit room that he is in for a short period of time each day with a caregiver so that people can see up close him interact and play...maybe you should find out a little more about the situation before you are so critical of them
Wow, you guys are great, it's so nice to see how much time and effort and consideration you put into giving him a nice place to live and to be everyday, I mean just watching the video it must have taken you months of dedication and caring genuinely caring for this extremely intelligent and unfortunately endangered primate. What you people did there is nothing short of amazing.. I mean, you can just sit there and watch him all day, you can clearly see how excited and happy he is to be rolling around on the floor in a diaper for human babies and it's obviously clear he certainly enjoys the feeling of all of his shit and piss being mashed all over himself and matted all throughout his hair inside that diaper. And I mean he has to be the luckiest orangutan on Earth and being one of the smartest most intelligent animals to ever exist I think he knows it. Why would he ever want to go back to where he came from when he can just stay there with you people and keep living the High Life. I mean really, if you think about it, just look at what his natural habitat is like, you people did him a favor, why would he ever want to return to the forest to live his life swinging through and around all of those stupid fucking trees, I mean really those shits are so stupid and disgusting, I really don't understand why we didn't just cut them all down chop them all down decades ago it just doesn't make any sense. Why on Earth would he ever want to go back to having to deal with all of that Forest type shit. I mean seriously, look at how lucky he is, it's like he won the orangutan State Lottery, the last thing he would ever want to do is leave this place, this Palace, this amazingly beautiful home you so painstakingly built for him, and here, one of his favorite Parts about being lucky enough to live there with you is that he gets to just be by himself twenty-four hours a day he's alone all day all night every day every night he gets to just be alone oh, I'm sure the last thing on his mind is being in the lush green forest with the other orangutans, in his family group that's out there, I mean, the forest, fucking gross. He has it all, he has absolutely everything a orangutan could ever wish for. I mean let's be serious, who in their right mind, if given the option, to either live free completely free, with their family, in a beautiful lush green and bountiful Paradise, or alone completely alone all the time locked up in a tiny cold gray cement box?? With absolutely nothing, except for that wonderful amazingly designed plastic thing you screwed together and Chucked into the cement box with him to obviously keep him stimulated and busy with something to do all day and all night, how thoughtful of you. Anyway, I'm not sure if you picked up on it yet, but I really just want to tell you that you're a piece of fucking shit..
Seems to me that is their biggest kick in life - to be critical of everyone except those in their clique, and ignore or pick fights with everyone else! These grown women are like a bleacher full of HS cheerleaders, real or wannabes... Mean, nasty, self-obsessed "do-gooders" (in their own eyes). They take over & pat themselves & each other on the backs every chance they get. With the exception of a couple of them, they all think they're "experts" at EVERYTHING & no one else is even acknowledged, unless they think you're talking about them or one of their friends.
